Interim Operational Support
About me- Nina graham
My approach to Interim Operational Support is grounded in practical experience working alongside a wide range of organisations across Scotland. Over seven years at CEIS, I supported organisations through periods of change, offering both hands-on and strategic support across governance, capacity building, service development, financial forecasting, income generation and long-term sustainability. During the pandemic, this work helped secure more than £1.1 million in recovery funding.
Alongside organisational support, I have led community and stakeholder engagement in both urban and rural settings, including work on asset transfers, local place planning and strengthening the community benefit of local authority procurement. I have also designed and facilitated workshops, webinars and organisational development awaydays, helping teams build confidence, capability and clarity about their next steps.
My experience spans a diverse range of clients including housing associations, local authorities, family support services, disability and carer support groups, campaigning organisations, community transport organisations, community centres, community growing projects, reuse and recycling initiatives, faith-based organisations, artist collectives, visitor and tourism groups. This breadth of experience means I can quickly understand different organisational contexts, priorities and pressures, and adapt my support to what is needed most.
A key strength I bring to interim support is the ability to get up to speed quickly and contribute with minimal handover. I combine strategic thinking with practical delivery, helping organisations maintain momentum, strengthen day-to-day operations and move forward with confidence. The following pages give a fuller sense of the experience, approach and practical support I bring to this work.
